Docks

  • Fifty-five dock slips are available to members for boats and personal watercraft up to 24’ feet long. Dock access is available 24/7 from late-April until mid-October.
  • The docks are easily accessible by car and well-lit  for safety at night.
  • The base of the boat ramp area has ample space for launching.  Travel  the distance from clubhouse to the lake via the staircase, or by riding the historic GSYC tram.
  • Kayak racks are steps from the boat launch area and adjacent to the  lakeside marina seating area.
  • The clubhouse locker rooms are well-appointed and maintained. Individually-assigned lockers, a shower area, spacious family dressing rooms and diaper-changing areas are available to members and guests.
  • Large portajohns are conveniently stationed at the pool and the docks.

Powerboats, Sailboats & Small Watercraft

  • Lake Hopatcong is the perfect place to master  wakeboarding, water skiing & tubing.

  • Powerboat on a tranquil weekend morning, assisting sailors with the weekly regatta as part of the GSYC Race Committee.

  • Decorate and display your family’s boat in the 4th of July Boat Parade.

  • Learn basic sailing principals or watercraft safety techniques taught annually by GSYC member volunteers.

Court Sports, Playground & More

  • Racquet Sports –Two courts for either tennis or pickleball,  available seven days a week from spring through late fall, with shaded bleachers for prime viewing.

  • Children’s Playground – With an astounding lake panorama, kids love it there.

  • Firepit Area- The gas firepit &  seating area is perfect for casual gatherings. It’s a hangout for s’more & campfire stories.  Or just gaze the stars in the night sky.

  • Other Activities – There is shuffleboard, ping pong, basketball hoop, cornhole & tetherball on the club grounds.
