Fifty-five dock slips are available to members for boats and personal watercraft up to 24’ feet long. Dock access is available 24/7 from late-April until mid-October.
The docks are easily accessible by car and well-lit for safety at night.
The base of the boat ramp area has ample space for launching. Travel from the clubhouse to the lake via the stairs or ride the historic GSYC tram.
Kayak racks are steps from the boat launch area and adjacent to the lakeside marina seating area.
The clubhouse locker rooms are well-appointed and maintained. Individually-assigned lockers, a shower area, spacious family dressing rooms and diaper-changing areas are available to members and guests.
Large portajohns are conveniently stationed at the pool and the docks.

Lake Hopatcong is the perfect place to master wakeboarding, water skiing & tubing.

Learn New Jersey boating safety laws and take the exam at the GSYC. Classes are held every spring.
Court Sports, Playground & More
Racquet Sports –Two courts for either tennis or pickleball, available seven days a week from spring through late fall, with shaded bleachers for prime viewing.
Children’s Playground – With an astounding lake panorama, kids love it there.
Firepit Area- The gas firepit & seating area is perfect for casual gatherings. It’s a hangout for s’mores & campfire stories. Or just gaze at the stars in the night sky.
Other Activities – Games include ping pong, a basketball hoop, cornhole & tetherball on the club grounds. There is a children’s corner to keep younger children occupied adjacent to the pool.
