Summertime 2008 at the GSYC!

Summertime means that it's time to be outdoors.  Registration forms are now available on the website for Red Cross certified children's swim lessons and lifeguard certification.  Tennis registration for children's lessons, adult clinics and private instruction are also available.  Please register early to assure the time that is most convenient for you.  Look on the Event calendar in June to download the necessary forms-click on any of the Swimming & Tennis Registration days listed there. 

GSYC has new reasons for you to come outdoors.   A new 20 by 40 foot playground area with a vinyl swingset, approved by the membership in March,  is winding its way through the town approval processes, and should be ready for use by early July.  Our shuffleboard court will be refurbished shortly, or take some time to shoot a few at the basketball hoop located at the tennis courts.

We're making our existing facilities more convenient for you to use.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the swimming pool will be open from 12 noon to 8 pm to allow families to enjoy an after-work dip.  To make things even more convenient, a pub-style dinner will be offered on those days as well.  Example menus will be available soon.

If you'd rather spend more time boating on the lake, dinners will available "to go" on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well! 

Should you prefer air-conditioned comfort, stay indoors for weekly dining, entertainment events, dancing and more!
